Teddy connects to 1Password with a read-only service account and collects evidence about how secrets are managed.
What Teddy collects
- Members and vault access
- Account security settings
- Confirmation that a password manager is in use
Frameworks and controls
- ISO 27001:2022: A.5.17 Authentication information, A.5.15 Access control
- SOC 2: CC6.1 on logical access and credentials
- NIS2: Article 21(2)(i) access control
- TISAX®: handling of authentication information
How it works
- You approve the permission list and connect 1Password with a service account.
- Teddy checks members, vault access and security settings on a schedule.
- The evidence is linked to every control it supports. Former members with access become tasks.
Access
Read-only. Teddy never reads your secrets.
Can Teddy see our passwords?
No. Teddy only reads account metadata such as members, vault access and settings. Vault contents are never accessed.
